es una banda de technical death metal formada en 1991 Annapolis, Maryland, Estados Unidos.
La música de Dying Fetus es un metal híbrido de brutal death metal y ritmos grindcore, caracterizado por los golpes de la explosión sumamente rápidos, riffing complejos y averías lentas, creando un imponente sonido tecnico pero a la vez agresivo. Los vocalistas van principalmente acompañados de 'death growls, pero también incluye, los gritos de la garganta superior, como suele hacerse en el death metal(CANNIBAL CORPSE)
